HighJump, a global provider of supply chain management software, announced that its TrueCommerce Transaction Manager now offers integrated warehouse and third-party logistics (3PL) support with its EDI solution for users of the SAP Business One small business management software.

The HighJump solution provides electronic data interchange (EDI) integration for SAP Business One. The integration leverages the native SAP Business One Data Interface application programming interface (API), ensuring that SAP business rules are enforced.

“Transaction Manager offers a seamless integration that automates the full spectrum of transactions with customers and supply partners, including warehouses and 3PLs,” states Nick Manolis, president of the TrueCommerce EDI Solutions group. “Manufacturers and suppliers can streamline the fulfillment process from sales order processing to shipping to distribution, helping to optimize supply chain management and strengthen trading partner relationships.”

The solution includes integrated transactions for two key warehouse documents: the outbound warehouse shipping order and the inbound warehouse shipping advice.

The outbound warehouse shipping order (940) can be processed automatically from a sales order in SAP Business One, including automatic updating of lot numbers and serial numbers. The inbound warehouse shipping advice (945) can automatically create a delivery in SAP Business One, including the package details and UCC-128 label details.

The integrated warehouse shipping advice can also be used to automatically generate an advance ship notice, allowing users to immediately send notifications to their customers.

Integrating warehouse transactions with SAP Business One makes order fulfillment faster and more accurate by eliminating the need to print or re-enter data, according to Manolis. It also saves time by automating communications with warehouses and 3PLs.
